~ New Years Day Paddle ~

Meet Time: 12:30 PM
Where: Lower Huron Metro Park.
Address: 17385 Haggerty Rd, Belleville, MI 48111. Easiest entrance to park is off I-94 at exit 192, Haggerty Road south. See map link below.
Put-in: North Fishing Site; the fist parking area to the right after entering the park off of I-94.
Take Out: South Fishing Site; the last parking area to the left before leaving the park at the south entrance.
Note: Intermediate/Advanced paddling skills required.
Must wear a PFD and bring a full change of clothes in a dry bag.
This is a cold water paddle, no children or pets please.
After Paddle: We will gather at Applebee's Restaurant at 10526 Belleville Rd. (just north of I-94).
If you do not paddle, why not stop by and swap a tale or two with those who do? Reminiscing and tall-tale swapping is a great way to start the year. It is never too early to start talking about the next year's paddling!

Reminder: A 2009 Metropark pass is required for this event in order to enter the Metropark. An Annual pass is $20, a daily pass is $4. The pass can usually be obtained at the entrance to the park or at the park office.
