Great Lakes Paddlers
~ Crooked Lake and Other Small Lakes Paddling Weekend ~
Date: Saturday, 10-24-2009 and Sunday, 10-25-09.
Meet Time: Saturday and Sunday AM for paddling, Friday and Saturday nights for camping.
Where: Camping at Crooked Lake State Forest Campground near Pinckney, MI.
Difficulty Rating: Skill Level: Novice. Difficulty: Moderate.
Additional Information:
Enjoy rustic camping and fall colors at Crooked Lake Campground.
Day paddling on Crooked, Pickerel, and Silver Lakes within Pinckney Recreation Area.
October 23 - Friday evening:
Set up at Crooked Lake Campground in Pinckney Rec Area.
October 24 - Saturday morning: Camper's breakfast, fishing, pre-paddle, hiking, brunch, etc.
1 pm: Meet at Crooked Lake dock, paddle around Crooked and Pickerel Lakes
evening: dinner, campfire, socializing, etc.
October 25 - Sunday morning: Break camp
11 am: Meet at nearby Silver Lake for another paddle.
A State Park annual sticker or day pass required.
